Use

Read-only field truth.

You may use the public Pointmoon service to retrieve its available field-truth outputs, subject to reasonable rate limits, these terms, and any source-specific notices returned with the data. Do not use the service to disrupt, overload, probe for unauthorized access, or evade technical safeguards.

Source data

Licenses and attribution still matter.

Pointmoon combines data from third-party and public sources. A response may include attribution or licensing notices that apply to that source. Your right to reuse or redistribute source data can depend on those terms; the Apache-2.0 license for Pointmoon code does not replace a source dataset's license.

Reliability

No guarantee of completeness.

Pointmoon is designed to return sourced evidence or explicit silence, but data feeds can be unavailable, delayed, incomplete, geographically uneven or wrong. The hosted public service is provided as available, without a service-level agreement or guarantee that a particular signal will be present.

Pointmoon is not an emergency, medical, legal, navigation or safety-critical service. A downstream product is responsible for the decisions it makes from Pointmoon data and for presenting uncertainty appropriately.

Changes

The service can evolve.

Public interfaces use versioned contracts, but providers, limits, availability and these hosted-service terms may change. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by the updated date on this page.
